Marisa Clarin Howerton , 53, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at her home.
Born November 12, 1962 at Lemery, Philippines she was the daughter of Esteban and Corazon Atienza Clarin of the Philippines.
Marisa was a registered nurse for Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.
She was a member of the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Oak Hill.
In addition to her parents, Marisa is survived by her husband, Michael Joe Howerton; two sons, Brian Dixon of Oak Hill and Michael Howerton of Oak Hill; a brother, Benjamin Clarin of the Philippines and a sister, Mary Jean Sims of Waco, TX.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill with Father Carlos Melocoton officiating. Burial will follow at
Hot Coal Cemetery in Sophia. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.
