Marie Tyree Meador

Marie Alice Tyree Meador, 91, of Oak Hill, WV formerly of Pax, WV died Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Montgomery General Hospital. She was born February 28, 1919 at Pax, WV she was the daughter of the late Granville and Harriett "Hattie" Brunk Tyree. She was a homemaker and attended the Church of Christ at Pax and the Oak Hill Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Meador; brother, Alfred Tyree; and two sisters, Lorene Tyree and Chlora Ewalt. Survivors include her son, Carl Meador and his wife, Susan of Montgomery; one brother, Bill Tyree of Jacksonville, FL; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, October 11, 2010 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with the Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Burial will be at Pax Community Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
