Marie Sullivan Fitzpatrick

Marie Sullivan Fitzpatrick , 88, of Land O'Lakes, FL formerly of Beckley, WV died on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at her home.
Born February 26, 1928 at Mount Hope, WV she was the daughter of the late Wiley Franklin and Neva Johnson Sullivan.
She was a retired postmaster. Marie was of the Methodist faith; was a member of NAPUS; BARH Auxiliary, AARP, and the Eastern Star and was a 1947 graduate Oak Hill High School.
Her husband, David Jackson Fitzpatrick; brothers, Duff Sullivan, Amos Sullivan and David Sullivan; and sister, Nancy Huffman preceded her in death.
Surviving are her loving, devoted family which includes daughter, Dana McMahon and husband, Terry of Land O'Lakes, FL; son, David Fitzpatrick and wife, Karen of Morgantown; six grandchildren, David Heath Fitzpatrick, L. Brock Fitzpatrick, Shannon P. McMahon, Caitlin M. McDonald, Sean C. McMahon and Kerry A. McMahon; and sixteen great grandchildren.
Also surviving are sisters, Margie Blake of Oak Hill, and Gracie Withrow of Columbus, OH; and sisters-in-law, Judy Blackwell of Mechanicsville, VA and Patty Epps of Prince George, VA.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Entombment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. The family will host a reception following the service at Three Gables in Hilltop.
Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, July 2, 2016, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM with Eastern Star service at 7:00 PM
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or a hospice of your choice.
