Margaret Lorraine Thorne Rhodes

Margaret Lorraine Thorne Rhodes , 91, of Barberton, OH formerly of Rt 1 Fayetteville, WV died on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Pleasant View in Barberton, OH. Born March 30, 1920 at Narrows, VA she was the daughter of the late Luther Morton and Annie East Thorne. She was a homemaker. Her husband, John Chester Rhodes preceded her in death as did five sisters and one brother. Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Mae Elliott, Juanita Faye Lynch and Evelyn Lorraine Bartoe-Marusek and husband Mike, three brothers, eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, sixteen great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside rites and committal services will be on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity with entombment to follow. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Pleasant View Activity Fund, 401 Snyder Avenue, Barberton, OH 44203.
