Margaret M. Scott

Mrs. Margaret M. Scott, 80, of Evans, GA wife of the late John Howard Scott formerly of Oak Hill, WV, entered into rest on Friday, June 29, 2007 at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta, GA. A memorial service will be held on at 6:30 PM on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV with Rev. William Slates officiating. Friends may call from 5:00 PM until service time on Saturday. Mrs. Scott was a native of Washington, D.C. She was the Executive Secretary to the Managing Director of the National Slag Association, Executive Administrative Assistant for over 30 years at IBM Corporation, Past President of the Fairfax County Business Professional Women, and a top performer for over 15 years for Long and Foster Realtors. Mrs. Scott was the owner of Treasures by Margaret antiques. Margaret was the daughter-in-law of the late John and Sue Amole Scott. Survivors include her daughter, Ellen Leckliter and husband, Richard; her son Richard Scott and wife, Paula; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Kahn, Jamie Slater, Zachary Slater, Aubry Jean Scott and four great-grandchildren, Imalai Rodriguez, Shileen Kahn, Zariah Kahn, Preston Slater.
