Margaret Anne Robertson Bowyer

Margaret Anne Robertson Bowyer , 73, of Augusta, GA died on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Doctor's Hospital in Augusta, GA. Born July 03, 1939 at Glen White, WV she was the daughter of the late Leonard Preston and Glidys Rachel Daniels Robertson. She was a member of the Helen Baptist Church. Anne was a devoted and loving wife, loving mother and caregiver to many. She always put the interests of others ahead of her own needs. She was a friend to many and loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cooking, especially during the holiday. She was one of seven children including the late Leonard, Jane, Mary, Wilma, Virginia and John, with two brothers, Leonard "Bucky" Robertson and John R. Robertston surviving. Anne was the beloved wife for 55 years to Donald Eugene Bowyer, mother of William E. Bowyer of Augusta, GA, Michael P. Bowyer of Raleigh, NC, Karen B. Crawford of Norfolk, VA and David S. Bowyer of Norfolk, VA, and six grandchildren, Kristin Crawford, W. Patrick Bowyer, Alexandra Crawford, Michael Bowyer, Robert Bowyer and Kayla Bowyer. She will also be missed by very special relatives including brother-in-law, Bill R. Bowyer of Ghent, daughter-in-law, Judy C. Bowyer of Augusta and son-in-law, Neal Crawford of Norfolk, VA. Graveside rites and committal services will be on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity with Pastor Harmon Davis officiating. Burial will follow.
