Margaret Nichols

Margaret Sneddon Nichols, 75, of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, November 28, 2004 at her home following a long illness. Born February 10, 1929 at Kilsyth, WV she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret McNeil Sneddon. Mrs. Nichols attended the Wednesday evening Bible Study at the Mount Hope Christian Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cyrus Brown; second husband, C.D. Lightfoot; third husband, Elmer Nichols; daughter, Martha Catherine Lightfoot; brothers, Willie and Robert Sneddon; sister, Martha Ingles; great grandchildren, Emily Bickford-Holstein and Garrett Treadway.. Survivors include daughters, Margaret (Jack) Bickford of Oak Hill and Kathy (Eddie) Burns of Kexington, KY; stepsons, Tim Nichols of Wilmington, NC and Mike Nichols of Hilton Head, SC; stepdaughter, Pam Nichols of Heyworth, IL; brothers, John Sneddon of Cincinnati, OH, Ronald Sneddon of Wheelersburg, OH and Alex (Lu) Sneddon of Fayetteville; by nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 1, 2004, from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Services will be on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 11:00 am at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Diarmuid O'Hara officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill WV.
