Margaret Sizemore Moran

Margaret Sizemore Moran , 88, of Oak Hill, WV passed away on Tuesday, January 04, 2011 at Cedar Ridge Center in Sissonville, WV after a very prolonged and painful illness. Born October 27, 1922 at Minden, WV she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Ethel Brown Sizemore. Margaret lived in Oak Hill most of her life and was a member of the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene. She was very active in work at her church. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her biggest delight and she always remembered each and every one of them on every special occasion. She had many "adopted" grandchildren, in addition to her own. She always took time to listen to them and have fun with them. She was never heard to say a negative comment about anyone. Eternally positive about life, she always had a smile. She was an avid reader and owned many first edition classics. Her life was a shining example of that of a true Christian. She was a wonderful mother. She will be missed by all that touched her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. Moran, daughter, Susan and brothers, Phillip, Jack and Fred Sizemore. She is survived by three sons, Harry E. Moran, II and wife, Nina of Elkview, Wayne P. Moran and wife, Debbie of Naperville, Ill., and Jerald W. Moran and wife, Esther of Martinsburg, two brothers, Arthur Sizemore and wife, Martha L. of Fort Walton, FL and Ralph R. Sizemore of Roanoke Rapids, NC, nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Services will be on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Friday, January 7, 2011 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
