Margaret Louise Carroll

Margaret Louise Decker Carroll, 90, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, September 05, 2005 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born August 28, 1915 at Summerlee, WV she was the daughter of the late Claude Sylvester and Audrey Jones Decker. Louise retired from the Hecht Company as the Millinery Department Manager. After retirement Louise volunteered in the gift shop at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Haddonfield, NJ. She was a Presbyterian by faith and a graduate of Welch High School. Her brother, Eldon "Mac" Decker, brother-in-law, Frank S. Melesky and an aunt, Thelma Frye preceded her in death. Survivors include one daughter, Sheila Gray Hall of Wilmington, NC; one grandson, Scott E. Simmons and wife, Leslie, of Wilmington, NC; three great grandchildren, Darby, Camden and Keaton Simmons of Wilmington, NC; sister, LaBelle Melesky of Scarbro, WV; sister-in-law, Nina Decker of Bristol, VA; two nieces, Jennifer MacCauley and husband, Michael, of Madison, WV and Claudia Layman and husband, Jim, of Dufur, Oregon; three nephews, Kevin Decker of Bristol, VA,Eldon "Little Mac" Decker, Jr, and wife, Joyce, of Texas and Frank S. Melesky and wife, Jeannie, of Manteca, CA; great niece, Charlene Rouse of Dufur, Oregon; and cousin, Bill Frye and wife, Marie, of Oak Hill, WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV on Thursday, September 8, 2005, from 1:30 to 2:30 PM. Services will be on Thursday, September 8, 2005, at 2:30 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Diarmuid O'Hara officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
