Mamie Marie Workman Suttle

Mamie Marie Workman Suttle , 87, of Clear Creek, WV died on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born October 05, 1925 at Clear Creek, WV she was the daughter of the late Prater and Tellie Toney Workman. Mrs. Suttle was of the Methodist faith and a homemaker. Her husband, Cecil Asbury Suttle, a son, Paul Scarbro, three sisters, Mary Hellem, Madeline Griffin and Jewell Meadows and three brothers, Kenneth Workman, Cleve Workman and Carlos Workman preceded her in death. Survivors include son, Cleeroy Scarbro of Clear Creek, daughter, Patricia Cooper and husband, Starlin of Bolt, step-daughter, Brenda Johnson and husband, Jack of Ohio, daughter-in-law, Joyce Scarbro of Clear Creek and two sisters, Joan Blevins of Clear Creek and Halline Thompson of Sylvester. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Rev. Loretta Taylor and Rev. Carl Sellards officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
