Maggie B. Pennock

Maggie Berthal Shields Pennock, 99, of Carlisle, WV died on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at Hidden Valley Healthcare Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born December 18, 1906 at Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Wallace Shields and Rosie Toney Shields Bruno and step-daughter of the late Frank Bruno. Mrs. Pennock was a member of the Scarbro Baptist Church, Scarbro, WV and a homemaker. Her husband, Etheal Emmett Pennock; one son, Clarence Raymond Pennock; two brothers, Alva Shields and Leo Shields and two half-sisters, Ruby Bruno Dooley and Gladys Bruno Cody preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Emmett Franklin Pennock and wife, Loretta of Oak Hill, Alva Marion Pennock and wife, Patricia, of Parkersburg, WV and Richard Leon Pennock of Dale City, VA; ten grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, April 28, 2006, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Bob Creed officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
