Madeline Mildred Miller Hanson , 84, of Whitsett, NC formerly of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, September 21, 2009 at Hospice House in Burlington, NC. Born September 17, 1925 at McKendree, WV she was the daughter of the late James and Martha Hicks Miller. She was a retired sales clerk. Survivors include a daughter, Judith Ellison of Whitsett, NC, one brother, James Miller of Portland, Oregon and one sister, Gloria Shelton of Brook, Ind. She is also survived by a nephew, Craig Ellison, niece, Teresa Wykle, great niece, Ariel Wykle and close friend, Natella Archer all of Whitsett. Services will be on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Allen Gallimore officiating Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill.
