Lynn Edward Foster , 49, of Mount Carbon, WV died on Monday, August 10, 2015 at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH , after a courageous battle with complications due to diabetes.
Born February 15, 1966 at Charleston, WV he was the son of Margaret Taylor Foster Carr of Wriston, WV and the late Calvin Ray Foster.
He was a graduate of Oak Hill High School, attended the Church of the Nazarene and was a restaurant waiter.
A brother, Bobby Lee Foster and infant sister, Rebecca Foster preceded him in death.
Lynn was a gentle soul. He was dearly loved and will be truly missed by his family and friends..
In addition to his mother those left to cherish his memory include three daughters, Savannah Foster of Beckley, Bridgette Foster and Mahala Foster both still at home; his longtime companion, Regina "Gee-Gee" Yates; sister, Carolyn Elswick and husband, Ronald of Wriston; grandson, Ethan Pugh; and a stepson, Wesley Yates.
He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Ronnie Persinger officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
