Luke Earl Hess

Luke Earl Hess , 40, of Bradley, WV died on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Sherwood Lake in Neola, WV. Born November 12, 1972 at Beckley, WV he was the son of Novella Craigo Blankenship of Bradley and stepson of the late Monroe Blankenship. Mr. Hess was a former employee of Hamer Pellet Fuel. He was a member of the NRA. He loved to fish, hunt, camp, 4-wheel, shoot guns and most of all loved spending time with his family and friends. His grandparents, Jeanette and Theodore Spencer and his mother-in-law, Dorothy Irene Graham preceded him in death. In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Rita Graham Hess; son, Luke Earl Hess, II of Bradley; father-in-law, Bobby G. Graham of Bradley; sister-in-law, Anita Underwood and her husband, Douglas of Crow; nephew, Nicholas Underwood of Crow; and niece, Tiffany Rice and husband, Tyler of Morgantown. He is also survived by his two favorite dogs, Diezle and Sassy, his best friend, Tim Smith and wife, Ginger of Beckley and a whole host of dear friends and family. Funeral services will be on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Pastor Mike Belcher officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope on Thursday, July 25, 2013y from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Luke Hess, II, Scott Loftus, Tim Smith, Billy Reece, Leon Kiszka, Joey Cochran, Lee Bolen and Dennis Maehr will serve as pallbearers.
