Lucy Gray Craddock

Lucy Gray Short Craddock, 91, of Minden, WV died on Monday, January 21, 2008 at Ansted Center in Ansted, WV. Born October 10, 1916 at Sinks Grove, WV she was the daughter of the late Marion Thomas and Louise Mutter Short. Mrs. Craddock was a homemaker. Her first husband, George Compton, second husband, Ernest C. Craddock, one son, Bobby Short and eight brothers and sisters preceded her in death. Lucy was the last living member of her immediate family. Survivors include a son, Roger Compton and his wife, Judy of Spartanburg, SC and a special friend, Dixie Kincaid to whom she was like a mother also of Minden. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV.
