Louise Treadway Williams

Louise Joyce Treadway Williams, 94, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, November 05, 2015 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born December 27, 1920 at Lochgelly, WV she was the daughter of the late Wyatt and Lozzie Akers Treadway.

Louise was a retired custodian for Oak Hill Elementary School. She was a former employee of King Theater, Oak Hill.

Louise was a long time member of the Jones Avenue First Church of God in Oak Hill and the Women of the Church of God

Her husband, Harry Robert Williams, Sr.; son, Harry Robert "Robbie" Williams, Jr.; and a daughter, Lois Dale Williams; brothers, Harry Lee Treadway and Basil Ray Treadway; and sisters, Maggie M Taylor, Mary Ellen Birt Goff and Claudia Castle Thomas preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughter-in-law, Barbara Williams; two grandchildren, Robbie Williams of Oak Hill and Jennifer Underwood and husband, Kevin of Mount Hope; great grandchildren, Rodney Wade, Jr., Katherine Wade, Kerry Wade, Corey Underwood and McKayla Burgess; and a special niece, Vickie Shuff and her husband, Bill.

Funeral services will be on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Pat Franklin officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
