Louise Rosiek

Louise Rose Kania Rosiek, 81, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at her home of an apparent heart attack. Born May 8, 1922 at Lochgelly, WV she was the daughter of the late Walter John Kania, Sr. and Valeria Pieprzyk Kania. Mrs. Rosiek was a retired Clerk for the A&P Grocery Store in Oak Hill and a homemaker She was a member of the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill. . She was preceded in death by her her husband, John Joseph Rosiek, Sr. and brothers, Walter J. Kania, Jr., Theodore G. "Ted" Kania, Sr., Bernard J. "Bernie" Kania, Sr., and John Walter Kania. Survivors include Daughter: Renee Rosiek of Durham, NC Sons: John J. Rosiek, Jr. and wife, Carolyn of Oak Hill Randal Rosiek, Sr. and wife, Virginia of Oak Hill Robert Rosiek and wife, Teresa of Fayetteville Sister: Nellie Obrzut of Chicago, IL Brothers: Stanley Kania of Silver Spring, MD Joe Kania of Gauley Bridge Casimer Kania of York, PA 9 Grandchildren: Caroline Rosiek, Alison Rosiek, John Joseph Rosiek, III, Ryan Rosiek, Randal Rosiek, Jr., Miranda Rosiek, Ivana Rosiek, Mary Kate Rosiek and Jacqueline Rosiek Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, June 20, 2003 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm with prayer service at 8:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, June 21, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill. Father John P. McDonough will be officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, WV.
