Louise G. Ray Meadows, 96, of Bradley, WV passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2006 at Parker Personal Care Home-Sun Mine Road, Glen Jean, WV following an extended illness. Born January 20, 1910, in Bolivar, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late James Harvey Ray and Bessie Agnes Smith Ray. Mrs. Meadows was a homemaker, a member of the Bradley Church of God, where she was the oldest member and the last charter member. She was an active member of the Ladies Willing Workers of the church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Okla Homer Meadows on June 27, 1989; a son, James Meadows and six brothers. Survivors include two sons, Jack D. Meadows (Maryln) of Canton, Ohio and James M Meadows, Jr. (Tresa) of Bradley, WV; three daughters, Agathel Virginia Lawton (Tom) of Richmond, Virginia, Shelva Jean Arthur (Charles) of Bradley,WV and Nancy Louise Harris (Richard) of Mount Hope, WV; and a daughter-in-law, Violet Meadows of Ringgold, Georgia; a brother, Routhal Ray of Texas; special caregivers, Jessie and Helen Parker and Carol; Tresa and Vickey; seventeen grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Service will be 1:00 P. M. Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at the Bradley Church of God, Bradley, WV with the Rev. Jessie Parker and Rev. Brian White officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, WV. Friends may call Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope, WV from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.
