Louis E. Bowles

Louis "Louie" Eugene Bowles, 53, of Oak Hill went to be with his Heavenly Father at 11:55 P. M. Saturday, May 28, 2005 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness. Born November 2, 1951, at Thayer, WV, he was the son of Veoma Morris Bowles, Oak Hill and the late Benjamin D. Bowles. He is survived by a daughter, Anita Denton and her husband, Victor, Panama City, Florida. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Ernest and Annie Morris and his paternal grandparents, Benjamin and Myrtle Bowles. Those left to cherish his memories are a brother, Danny R. Bowles and his wife, Carol, of Bradley; two sisters, Teresa Sharp and her husband, Darrell, of Minden, and Malinda Toney and her husband, Preston, of Oak Hill along with his nephews, Billy Alan Humprey, Steve Bowles, and Darrell Sharp, Jr. and nieces, Jerilea Toney and Ashley Logan, and a "special" Uncle William "Bill" Morris and his wife, Jeri, of Meadow Bridge. Also left are a host of very cherished aunts, uncles and cousins and his canine buddy, Jessie. Louis served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was of the Baptist faith. Louie loved to bass fish and camp. He loved NASCAR racing. He made many friends during his many years as an avid CB operator, going by the username of "Red Fox". Services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 P. M. at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill, WV with the Rev. Robert Barley officiating. Friends may gather with the family one hour before services. Graveside rites and committal will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hil, WV. Cousins and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
