Our loving daddy, Louis Angius Jr., 78, of Mount Hope, WV died on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born March 06, 1934 at Tamroy, WV he was the son of the late Louis Angius, Sr. and Quinta Nenni Angius. Mr. Angius was a a retired coal miner having worked for the New River Coal Company. He was a member of the Mount Hope First Church of God and the UMWA. He loved to hunt and fish. His former wife, Patricia Gay Angius preceded him in death on July 10, 2001. He was also preceded by a daughter, Teresa Dawn Angius and a brother, John Angius He is survived by a loving family which include one son, Steve Angius and wife, Wanda of Fayetteville, four daughters, Joyce Wriston of Beckley and Lesia Higginbotham and husband, Richard of Glen Jean, Tammy Hancock and husband, Mel of Beckley and Angela Angius of Mount Hope, three brothers, Frank Angius of Sissonville, Sam Angius of Sissonville and Jack Angius of Fayetteville, and six sisters, Tracy Sykes of Atlanta, GA, Ellen McCoy of Charleston, Rose Hayes of Radford, VA, Mary Webb of Milton, Patty Wooten of Oak Hill and Josie Wriston of Fayetteville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Pastor Bryan Knight officiating. Entombment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Ricky Higginbotham, Jason Higginbotham, Steven Angius, Mel Hancock, Jeremy Wriston, Sam Spadaro, Matt Wriston and Rick Higginbotham will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
