Lived by the Golden Rule: “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do you even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” - Matthew 7:12 Lottie Mable "Dollie" Foster Holdren, 87, of Weirwood, WV died on Monday, September 03, 2007 at her home. Born August 30, 1920 at Max Meadows, VA she was the daughter of the late Robert A. and Cora L. Brinkley Foster. Mrs. Holdren was a member of the Church of Christ, Pax, WV and a homemaker. Her husband and family were her life. She was preceded in death by her three sons, Roger Dale Holdren, Cyrus Woodrow Holdren and Daniel L. Holdren and three grandchildren, Melissa Dawn Holdren, Tina Marie Holdren and Justin Allen Holdren. Survivors include her husband of 70 years, , Walter Dexter "Dean" Holdren, Jr.; six sons, Franklin D. Holdren and wife, Jan of Maryville, TN, Carl Joe Holdren and wife, Joyce of Bristol, VA, Walter Glen Holdren and wife, Peggy of Pax, WV, Benjamin A. Holdren and wife, Sherry of Pax, WV, Billy J. Holdren and wife, Tammy of Pax, WV; eight daughters, Patty A. Pierce and husband, Jimmy of Onieda, TN, Virginia L. Johnson and husband, Ernie of Chesapeake, VA, Ethel F. Davis and husband, Paul of Chesapeake, VA, Debbie J. Harmon and husband, Robert of Caledonia, Miss, Kathy L. Euler and husband, Byron of Cottageville, WV, Lisa A. Allen and husband, Michael of Powell, TN, Christine R. Holdren and Mary E. Holdren both of Pax, WV, She is also survied by twenty-five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and a loving special niece, Betty Jo McBride and husband, Willard of Princeton, WV. Services will be on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Ministers Ben Holdren and Jim Pierce officiating. Burial will be at Elgood Cemetery at Elgood in Mercer County WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Thursday, September 6, 2007, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Family members will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Southern WV, PO Box 1472, Beckley, WV,
