Loretta Jean Morris Blackburn

Loretta Jean Morris Blackburn , 67, of Fayetteville, WV died on Monday, March 10, 2014 at her home. Born October 05, 1946 at Montgomery, WV she was the daughter of the late Recil Mark and Betty Jean Underwood Morris. She was a well-known and respected Realtor for Jim Lively Realty in Oak Hill. Loretta was a member of the Gatewood Baptist Church and the West Virginia Board of Realtors. So many people have given of themselves to care for Loretta throughout the years. Bob and the family would like to acknowledge them and say thank you to Kathy Seay, the entire staff at Raleigh Regional Cancer Center, special thanks to Dr. El Harake who treated her for the past 20 years, our church family at the Gatewood Baptist Church and the staff at Bowers Hospice House. Thank you and may God richly bless each and every one. Loretta leaves behind her loving family which include her devoted husband, Robert "Bob" Blackburn; one son, Daniel Ray Hall, Jr. and Debra Wilburn of Beckley; two daughters, Joyce Ann Bragg and husband, Frank of Fayetteville and Stephanie M. Dennis and husband, Greg of Dunbar; two brothers, Charles Morris of Oak Hill and Ronnie Morris and wife, Cheryl of Oak Hill and two sisters, Kathy Seay and husband, Roger of Gatewood and Nancy Ramsey and husband, Larry of Bellaire, OH. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Megan Ann Bragg Rakes and husband, Mike, Frank Bragg, Jr., Elexus Dennis, Mya Dennis, Devin Hall, Travis Hall and Adam Gadd and one great grandchild, Brenden Hall. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Harry Fuller and Pastor Justin Seay officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 921 West Neville Street, Beckley WV 25801 or Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley WV 25801.
