Loretta E. Legg

Loretta Ernestine Epperly Legg, 75, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, October 29, 2007 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. Born December 30, 1931 at Beckley, WV she was the daughter of the late Ervin E. and Maude Martin Epperly. Mrs. Legg was a member of the Oak Hill United Methodist Church and a long-time employee of the General Nutrition Corporation. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse Jones; second husband, Edward Alton Legg and a brother, Ervin Epperly. Survivors include three children, Dianna Carter of Oak Hill, WV, Penny Edwards of Winston-Salem, NC and Edward Legg, Jr. of Winston-Salem, NC; four sisters, Polly McClung and husband, Russell of Fayetteville, WV, Drema Bowe of Oak Hill, WV, Wandaleen Shyblosky and husband, Larry of Crossville, TN and Kay Allen and husband, Joe of Clendenin, WV and two brothers, Jerry Epperly and wife, Judy of Oak Hill, WV and Larry Epperly and wife, Sharon of Goshen, IN. Also surviving are her six grandchildren, Shawn Carter, Jason Carter, Tiffany Carter, Michael Edwards, Jessica Edwards and Courtney Mabe and one great grandchild, Mia Carter. Services will be on Friday, November 2, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Ellen L. File officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, November 2, 2007 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
