Loraine E. Blake Miller

Loraine Emoline Blake Miller , 86, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Princeton Healthcare Center in Princeton, WV. Born October 25, 1925 at Summerlee, WV she was the daughter of the late Robert Cleveland and Hattie Treadway Blake. Loraine was a member of the Jones Avenue Church of God in Oak Hill. She was a former member of the church choir and sang with Homer and Loretta Rakes as part of the Sunshine Trio for more than 30 years. While living in Florida after retirement she was a member of the White Chapel Church of God where she also sang in the choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Walton Miller, Jr. on November 25, 2009, daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Ann Crone Miller, and a grandson, Phillip Craig Miller. As the last member of her immediate family she was also preceded in death by sisters, Bessie Marie Duncan, Estle Mae Fisher and Virginia Margaret Blake, and a brother, James Dairst Blake. Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Smith and husband, Robert of Mount Hope, three sons, Henry Lee “Buddy” Miller and wife, Lisa of Oak Hill, Jerry Miller of Princeton and Dairst Miller and wife, Donna of Waynesville, GA, granddaughters, Kristy Reed, Mollie Page, Lyndsey Treadway, and Paula Jean Norton, grandsons, Mark Miller and Andrew Miller, great granddaughters, Hannah Johnson, Lindsey Mouser, Courtney Mouser, Brieanna Norton, and twins Brianna Reed and Josh Reed, great grandsons, Carson Aaron Treadway, Dalton Mouser, Dallion Miller, Michael Register and Cody Register and great-great granddaughter, MiKayla Moore. The family would like to thank the staff at Princeton Health Care Center especially nurses, Tabitha, Bonnie and Angela and Hospice of Princeton for their love and care. Mrs. Miller was cremated.
