Lorah L. "Bud" Fox

Lorah L. “Bud” Fox, age 74, of Gatewood Road, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV Born September 24, 1939 in Oak Hill, he was the son of the late Forrest W. and Irene Blake Fox. Bud was a 1957 graduate of Collins High School and was a avid golfer. From a early age he had a great love of cars and became the owner/operator of Bud Fox Body Shop and Towing, LLC. He served his country in the US Air Force from 1961-1965 as a crew chief on a C-130. Bud was preceded in death by sisters, Forrest Ann Balding, Carolyn L. Rogers Wagner, Virginia Mae Fox, Nancy Elmore, Jeanette Sue Fox and by a brother, Burke Walton Fox. Surviving are his wife, Chloe Ann Parrish Fox, his son Mike Fox and wife Kristie of Oak Hill, his daughter, Allyson Fox Wyatt and her husband Russell of Oak Hill, his four grandchildren, Kayla Wyatt, Aubrey Fox, Christan Wyatt and Delanie Fox. Also surviving is a brother, Thomas William Fox and wife Carol J. of Washington, NC. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Roy Crist officiating. Entombment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Monday, January 13, 2014.
