Lois Mae Elmore Smith , 88, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV.
Born July 24, 1927 at Turkey Knob, WV she was the daughter of the late Otha Ledford and Minnie Mae Hutchinson Elmore.
She was a homemaker.
Her husband, Laurence R. Smith, II; son, Allard C. Smith; brothers, Junior Elmore, Cleto J. Elmore, Edward E. Elmore and Billy Elmore; and sisters, Ruby Spessard and Genevieve Samples preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughter, Delores Gail Kuhl and husband, Robert G. of Charleston; two sons, Vincent L. Smith and wife, Vickie of Oak Hill, and Laurence R. Smith, III of Oak Hill; daughter-in-law, Kathy Smith of King, NC; two sisters, Linda Jane Rainey of Hilltop and Wanda Carol Smith of Mount Hope; ten grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren
Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Robert Wade officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill.
Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
