Lois Jean Linzy

Lois Jean Metcalfe Linzy, 73, of Daniels, WV passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born February 16, 1936 in Cincinnati, OH she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine Lovell Metcalfe. Lois was retired from FMRS and graduated Cum Laude from Beckley College. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Linzy; three sisters, Patricia Ann Holbrook, Mary Lee Hammon and Thelma Metcalfe and one brother, William Lee Metcalfe. Those left to cherish her memory include her three sons, Robert A. Linzy of Prescott, AZ, Patrick L. Linzy of Fayetteville and Mark A. Linzy of Shady Spring; one daughter, Frances, L. Reichard of Daniels; one brother, Arthur Metcalfe of New Jersey and fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Graveside rites and committal service will be on Friday, February 27, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity with Pastor Phillip Farrington and Pastor Sam Peterson officiating.
