Linda Miller Stewart

Our loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, Linda Miller Stewart , 65, of Oak Hill, WV went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born September 01, 1947 at Martinsburg, WV she was the daughter of Elaine McDaniel Miller of Hedgesville, WV and the late Alvin F. Miller. Mrs. Stewart was a member of the LifeBridge Assembly of God, Oak Hill where she served as church secretary and had a great passion for the mission work. Linda worked for the Fayette County Public Library from which she retired in 2010. An avid traveler, she never missed a state park. She loved gardening and was a member of the Garden Club in Oak Hill. Loved by many -- she was cherished by all who knew her. A brother, George A. Miller preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Charles Wayne Stewart; three sons, Chuck Stewart and wife, Jennifer, David Stewart and wife, Erica and Jonathan Stewart; one brother, Gary W. Miller; brothers-in-law, Wilbur Stewart and Tom Stewart; mothers-in-law, Mary Stewart and Martha Stewart and her grandchildren, Seth, Kaden, MyKayla, Caitlyn, Maraeya and Lane. Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the LifeBridge Assembly of God in Oak Hill with Pastor Joe Hoggard and Rev. Shirlie Watson officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at LifeBridge Assembly of God. Oak Hill on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
