Linda J. Sanson

Linda Jean Conner Sanson, 55, of Oak Hill, WV died Friday, February 13, 2009 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV. Born November 1, 1953 at Oak Hill, WV she was the daughter of Dora J. Wingrove Conner of Oak Hill and the late Earl A. Conner. Linda was formerly employed at Hardees in Oak Hill as assistant manager and was currently employed at BB&T Bank in Oak Hill. She was a 1971 graduate of Collins High School in Oak Hill and was a member of the Page Baptist Church where she attended the Young Adult Sunday school class. In her leisure time Linda enjoyed reading, walking, camping and spending time with her family and friends. She dearly loved her church family at Page Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Andrew and Emily Conner and by her maternal grandparents, Emery and Mable Wingrove. Survivors in addition to her mother, Dora J. Wingrove Conner of Oak Hill, are her husband, Lewis Sanson; her daughter, Donna O'Hara and her husband, Dustin of Hedgesville, her step-son, Chris Sanson of Oak Hill; her brother, Danny Conner and his wife, Joyce of Oak Hill; two aunts, Helen Burton of Jackson, Michigan and Nancy Elmore of Prosperity. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 16, 2009 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Entombment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday. Men of the Page Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
