Linda Gail Clay-Lambert

Linda G. Clay-Lambert, 59, of Beckwith, passed away Sunday May 29, 2022. She left this world peacefully and surrounded by her loved ones.

The youngest of 8, she was born May 23, 1963 in Beckley WV, to the late Freamon and Easter Clay. Linda graduated high school and completed CNA training. She then worked as a legal secretary for a prominent lawyer of the Beckley area for many years. A few years after she became a mother, she left her career to raise her children and become a homemaker. She went on to buy a home in Beckwith WV in 1998. She married her late husband, Wayne E. Lambert on October 10, 2003. She raised her 3 children; Stephanie, Brian and Jarret. She was a devoted, kind and caring wife and mother to her family. She was very proud of her children and especially proud of her four grandchildren; Lilliana, Trevor, Ethan and Natalie.

Linda is survived by 6 of her siblings; Peggy Williams (and husband Frank) of Maple Fork, Norma Huffman (and husband Doff) of Mt. Tabor, Freddy Clay (and wife Kathy) of Maple Fork, Bobby Clay (and wife Susan) of North Sand Branch, Ronnie Clay (and wife Barbara) of North
Sand Branch, and James Clay (and wife Beth) of North Sand Branch. Her three children; one daughter, Stephanie Koch (and partner Charles Norris III) of Oak Hill. Her two sons; Brian Koch (and partner Teia Meadow) of Beckwith and Jarret Lambert (and partner Destiny Kincaid)
of Oak Hill. Her four young grandchildren, many "adopted" children, her in-laws, many nieces and nephews and lots of close friends.

She was preceded in death by; all four of her grandparents, her before mentioned mother and father, her before mentioned husband, her sister Edna Agee of Virginia, some extended family members and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at Cotton Hill Baptist Church in Beckwith WV on Saturday June 11th at 4:30 p.m. There may be a celebration of life at her home in Beckwith following the services.
