Lillian M. Tipton

Lillian Maye Mitchell Tipton , 74, of Beckley, WV formerly of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born October 18, 1933 at Oak Hill, WV she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Virgie Moore Mitchell. Ms. Tipton was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Lee "Teele" Mitchell and Bobby Tipton and a brother, Harry Mitchell. Survivors include one son, Charles "Tim" Canterbury and wife, Michelle of Oak Hill; one brother, John Mitchell of California; two sisters, Catherine Canterbury of Fayetteville and Doris Wallace of Elkton, MD and by several nieces and nephews. Services will be on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Darrell Prater officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
