Letha Elizabeth Reynolds

Letha Elizabeth Reynolds, 90, of Victor, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley surrounded by her loving family.  

Born February 18, 1935, at Lick Fork, she was the daughter of the late Chester Monroe and Veda Clara (Smith) Coleman. 

Letha loved to cook and eat. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, watching birds especially hummingbirds, canning, finding mushrooms, flea marketing, and working jig saw puzzles. Whenever she heard the word go, she was on the porch waiting. 

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Harold; son, Freddie Wingfield, Sr.; siblings, Chester "Buster" James, William "Willie" Nelson, Velva Mitchell, Betty Thomas King, Carol Coleman, Mary Sue Scarbrough, Norma Adkins Flint, and Samuel Legg. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Deborah Arthur and her husband, William "Skipper" Arthur of Mount Hope; two sons, James Wingfield and his wife, Robin of Hico and Billy F. Coleman of Fayetteville; two stepsons, Robert Reynolds of Ohio and Timothy Reynolds of Kansas; two stepdaughters, Sandy Cain of Kansas and Debbie Reynolds of Ohio; one sister, Helen Pittman of Kentucky; daughter-in-law, Lynn Wingfield of Hico; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. 

Services will be 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Mitchell and Bobby Thomas officiating. Entombment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. 

Friends may call one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wingfield, Roger VanSickle, II, Jesse VanSickle, William "Skipper" Arthur, and John Wayne Bell.
