Leslie Howard Burnette

Leslie Howard Burnette, age 80, of Mount Hope, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2023.
Born October 31, 1942, he was the son of the late Fred and Imogene Boone Burnette.
He served in the United States Army and shortly after his time in the service he worked for Ford Motor Company as a welder for over 40 years. Leslie loved spending time with his family, and going fishing with his grandson any chance he got.
He will be missed dearly by ex-wife, Ruth Burnette, children; Pam Burnette Davis (Richard), Leslie Alan Burnette, and Kimberly Zibert (John), grandchildren; Chad (Jade), Amber, Andy, Paige, Morgan, and Payton, sisters; Iris Parsons and Geneva Bair, many nieces and nephews, and close friend, Jerry Davis. The family would like to extend special thanks to Anita D'Angelo for being Leslie's caretaker all these years.
In keeping with his wishes Leslie is to be cremated and there are no services at this time
