Lenard Edward Smith , 77, of Kincaid, WV died on Wednesday, May 06, 2015 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV.
Born June 27, 1937 at Concho, WV he was the son of the late Andrew Jasper and Willie Mae McCormick Smith.
Lenard was an honorable US Air Force veteran.
Two brothers, Stanley Smith and Bobby Lee Smith and a sister, Grace Lewis preceded him in death.
Surviving are a loving family which includes brothers, James A. Smith of Kincaid and Roger D. Smith of Summersville; and sisters, Etha Robertson of Rittman, OH, Elsie Hughes of New London, OH, Dolly Keffer of Coal City, Leona Dye of Spencer and Patsy Manning of Walnut Cove, NC.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Ron George, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Kincaid Cemetery in Kincaid. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
