Lawrence William Humphrey

Lawrence William Humphrey , 81, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, October 04, 2011 at his home. Born November 23, 1929 at Edmond, WV he was the son of the late Sam and Mamie Pennington Humphrey. He was a retired technician having worked for a plastics plant in California and was a US Army veteran. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Flora Marie Garrett Humphrey, two daughters, Audra Robson of Hurricane, Utah and Kimberly Humphrey of Lancaster, CA, one sister, Wandeda Stafford McClinctock of Rhode Island, three grandchildren, Robert Robson, Stephen Robson and Bryan Robson and two great grandchildren, Chase Robson and Erin Robson. Funeral services will be on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. with Rev. Kenneth Garrett officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
