Laurence Rolland Smith, III , 55, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Huttonsville Correctional Facility in Huttonsville, WV.

Born November 14, 1961 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Laurence Rolland Smith, II and Lois Mae Elmore Smith.

He had worked in construction.

A brother, Allard C . Smith preceded him in death.

Survivors include sister, Delores Gail Kuhl and husband, Robert G. of Charleston; and brother, Vincent L. Smith and wife, Vickie of Oak Hill.

Services will be on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Father Roy Gene Crist officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
