Laura Reed

Laura Stewart Reed, 94, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at Hilltop Healthcare Center in Hilltop, WV. Born June 01, 1910 at Oak Hill, WV she was the daughter of the late Sparrell Hale and Annie Treadway Stewart. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Reed was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Oak Hill, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Franklin Reed on Dec 28, 1962. Survivors include son, Leonard Troy Reed of Des Plaines, IL; daughters, Betty Jane Perry of Chicago, IL and Loretta Clawson of Oak Hill; brothers, Fred Stewart of Oak Hill and Ray Stewart of Newark, OH; sister, Leona McCormick of Norfolk, VA and by 15 grandchildren. Graveside rites and committal services will be on Saturday, July 3, 2004, at 1:00 pm at Treadway Cemetery in Oak Hill. Burial will be at Treadway Cemetery, Oak Hill WV.
