Launa Jennings Maynor Logan

Launa Jennings Maynor Logan, 93, of Maynor Branch Road, died Friday, April 18, 2014 at Hilltop Center. Born December 17, 1920 at Cirtsville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Cyentha E. Romine Maynor. Mrs. Logan was a member of the Mount Hope Baptist Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rockford Logan; two daughters, Nancy Tatum and Debra Vipperman; one granddaughter, Kami Logan, one grandson, Bert Wayne Tatum; one great grandson, John Smith. Survivors include three daughters, Janet Kincaid and husband, Robert of Beckley, Beverly Jacobs and husband, Ronald of Dover, Delaware, and Lillian Logan of Beckley; three sons, Samuel Logan and wife, Patty of Mount Hope, Daniel Logan and wife, Anna of Mount Hope, and Glenn Logan of Beckley; fifteen grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren and eight great- great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P. M. Monday, April 21, 2014 at Mount Hope Baptist Temple with Pastor Lester Harper and Pastor Dana Gatewood officiating. Burial will follow at Romine Cemetery, Maynor Branch Rd. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
