Larry Simms

Larry Simms, 58, of Weirwood, WV died on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at his home. Born August 18, 1946 at Willis Branch, he was the son of Julia Deal Simms of Weirwood and the late Albert Simms. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert and a brother, Davey Simms. Larry will be sadly missed by his mother, Julia Deal Simms of Weirwood; his wife, Merrell Massey Simms of Weirwood; a daughter, Donna Bryant and husband, Alan of Radford, VA; three sons, Denver Simms and wife, Kristin of Springfield, Ohio, and Mani Messick and Gary King and his wife, Sharon all of Pax; a sister, Dorothy Donnell and husband, Check of Dearfield, Ohio; a brother, Ricky Simms and his wife, Marie of Pax; four grandchildren, Daniel Bryant of Radford, VA; Shana Lee Messick of Flint, MI, Katelyn King of Pax, and Gary Wayne King II of Pax; seven nieces, four nephews, one great niece and six great nephews. Due to inclement weather, the service has been changed. Service will be 2 PM Monday, January 31, 2005 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Mount Hope with the Rev. Loretta Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Pax Community Cemetery at Pax. Friends may call from 6 until 8 PM Sunday, January 30, 2005 at the funeral home
