Larry Davis

Larry Dean Davis, 67, of Maple Fork, WV died on Monday, August 13, 2007 at his home. Born September 04,1939 at Maple Fork, WV he was the son of the late Samuel Lewis and Delphia Lee Worrell Davis. Mr. Davis was a mechanic and electrician having been last employed as the Maintenance Superintendent at the Southern Regional Jail. He was a member of the Maple Fork Baptist Church and the U.M.W.A. A sister, Ruby McSpadden and a brother, Lewis Alex Davis preceded him in death. Survivors include his companion, Brenda Baldwin Davis; two daughters, Katherine "Kathy" Davis Wilson of Flat Top Lake, WV and Vicky Davis Wooten of Mount Hope, WV; three sisters, Doris Marcus, Ella Treadway and Drema Stover all of Maple Fork, WV and five brothers, Donald Davis of Daniels, WV, Dennis Davis of Mansfield, OH, Jerry Davis of Maple Fork, WV, Billy Davis of Kilsyth, WV and Glen Davis of Maple Fork, WV. Larry is also survived by a granddaughter, Kaitlin of Flat Top Lake, WV; a grandson, Todd and his wife, Robin of California and his much beloved great grandsons, Isiah and Garrett of California. Services will be on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Harmon Davis officiating. Burial will be at Sam Davis Cemetery, Maple Fork WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
