L. N. "Bucky" Ward, Jr.

Louis Nelson "Bucky" Ward Jr., 62, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, February 04, 2004 at his home in Oak Hill, WV. Born October 29, 1941 he was the son of the late Louis Nelson Ward, Sr. and Juanita Spears Ward. He was a retired Contract Mail Carrier, a former adjuster for State Auto Insurance Company, former Prudential Insurance agent and former WV State Trooper. Mr. Ward was a member and Past Master of the Oak Hill Lodge No. 120 A.F. and A.M., was a graduate of Collins High School, Oak Hill, W. V. I. T. and the West Virginia State Police Academy. He served in the US Army. Survivors include his stepmother, Marjorie Stokes Ward of Oak Hill Half-brother, Charles M. Ward of Loris, SC Step-brother, David Stokes of Oak Hill Uncles, Bill Spears of Catlettsburg, KY and Donald Spears of Nitor he is also survived by several cousins Mr. Ward was cremated. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
