Kyle Lewis Allen, Jr.

Kyle Lewis Allen, Jr. of Parkersburg, WV, formerly of Beckley, WV passed away on Sept 5, 2013. He was born Nov. 18, 1917 in Glen Jean, WV., the son of the late Kyle Lewis Allen, Sr. and Edith Walters Allen. In 1940 he married Ruth Sunday who preceded him in death in 2008. His lifetime career was automobile mechanic and service manager for Ford Motor Co and GM. He was an avid hunter and looked forward to spending time at his hunting cabin. He favorite times were with his friends at the camp swapping tales each hunting season. He is survived by his daughter, Rose Ann Spencer; son, Kyle Lewis Allen, III; Granddaughter, Karen Boso; Great Grand-daughters, Megan and Kaitlyn Boso; brother, Ralph Allen; good friend, Carl Gheen; Special little friend, Aubrey Schenz. In addition to his wife Ruth, a sister Evelyn Bragg preceded him in death. Graveside rites and committal services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Monday Sept 9th, 2013 at Wayside Cemetery, Wayside, WV with Allen Hilton officiating. Burial will follow and there will be no visitation. Memorials may be sent to Trinity Presbyterian Church, Shady Spring, WV or a charity of choice.
