Kirk C. Thomas

Beloved husband and father, Kirk Christopher Thomas, 43, of Shady Spring, WV died on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV of a sudden illness. Born May 12, 1961 in Miami, FL he was the son of Ralph Thomas of Hollywood, FL and Beverly Ann Meredith Thomas of Pax, WV. Mr. Thomas was a Mining Technician for Cutler Hammer Company. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Mosley Thomas. Survivors include his wife, Susan Toombs Thomas; daughters, Josie Ann and Jordan Elizabeth Thomas both at home; brothers, Mark Thomas of Pax and Tim Thomas of Stephens City, VA; and sisters, Nancy Thomas Carlson of Brunswick, MD and Paula Thomas Mullins of Pax. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope, WV, on Friday, January 21, 2005, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm. Services will be on Friday, January 21, 2005, at 2:30 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Doug Holley officiating. Burial will be at Pax Community Cemetery, Pax WV. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made for Kirk's daughters, Josie and Jordan Thomas, at United Bank, 129 Main Street, Beckley, WV 25801.
