Surrounded by her loving family, Keyley Faith Mounts, 9, of Mount Hope WV, skipped into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the Bowers Hospice House.
Born on January 26, 2010 in Beckley, WV, she was the precious daughter of Adam & Tiffany Mounts. Keyley was the Key to everyone’s heart. Her ability to light up a room with her infectious smile and piercing blue eyes was a true gift from God. She touched more lives than she will ever know.
Even though she never walked or talked on earth, today she runs, today she sings, today she dances with her new glorified body. Some special grandparents in heaven were waiting for her - Paw Paw Carlos Peters , Paw Paw Ted Holiday , Maw Maw Martha Mounts and Memil (Millie) Messer.
Keyley was fiercely loved by her family but especially loved by her little brother Corbyn. He often talked about how one day she would chase him in heaven! Keyley loved music, her special stuffed dog, Henry and her real dog, Ruger who were both always by her side. She was fascinated by giraffes as they were with her. She loved going to horseback riding therapy and the horses loved her as well.
A third grade student at Crescent Elementary, she also attended Bradley Freewill Baptist Church. She attended Camp Gizmo and got to be a princess at Disney World through Make A Wish Foundation.
Along with her parents and brother , those left to cherish her memory are grandparents, Reverend Wayne and Patty Peters, Greg and Kim Mounts, Dorothy Peters, Hester Holiday, Reverend Tommy Mounts, and Curt Messer; aunts and uncles- Stephen and Ashlee Peters, Casey and Megan Morgan, Sherry and Terry Tankersley, Terry and Kay Peters, Donna and Sam McDaniel, Teddy Ann and Eddie McNeely, Lisa and Steve Dawson, Rodney and Tammy Mounts, Steve and Debbie Mounts, Todd and Pam Mounts, and Bruce and Lisa Messer; cousins - Addison and Ava Peters and Sawyer Morgan; as well as numerous other family members, cousins and friends.
Friends may gather Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Bradley Freewill Baptist Church for visitation from 12:00 noon to 2:00 with the funeral beginning at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jim Mitchell officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.
