Kenneth Gail Raynes, 88, of Robson, WV passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Born February 4, 1932 in Robson, WV he was the son of the late Luther Raynes, Sr. and Clella Bess Raynes.
Kenneth worked for Cedar Coal Company as a miner. He was a preacher for 70 years and loved teaching God’s word.
He is preceded in death by sons, Steven Raynes, Sr., and Kevin Raynes; sister, Margaret Harper; and brothers, Elmer Raynes, and Luther Raynes, Jr.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Patricia Parks Raynes; son, Terry Raynes, Sr.; daughters, Susan Hannah, and Becky Cline (Jimmy), several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; brothers, Bill Raynes (Trula), and Larry Raynes (Norma Jean); and sister, Drema Hannah.
Funeral service will be 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at the Open Bible Temple in Powellton with Pastor Rodney Nicholas and Pastor Greg Toney officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley.
Visitation for friends will be from 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Saturday at the church.
