Kenneth Benton Kees, 71, of Plymouth Township, MI formerly of Burnwell, WV died on Thursday, May 11, 2006 at his home. Born May 22, 1934 at Burnwell, WV he was the son of the late Kenneth Wayne and Mary Elizabeth Lucas Kees. Mr. Kees was a devoted member and active deacon of the Heritage Free Will Baptist Church in Taylor. He was a long time member of the Masonic Lodge No. 586 AF and AM of Livonia, MI. He was retired from the automotive industry. Survivors include his loving wife, Reba J. Camp Kees; daughter, Deborah Parsons and husband, Scott of Livonia, MI; sons, Kenneth W. Kess and wife, Kathryn, of Dearborn Heights, MI and Keith Kees and fiancee', Sherry Huff of Romulus, MI; one brother, Robert A. "Bob" Kees and wife, Ann of Oak Hill; grandchildren, Matthew and wife, Angie, and Kimberly and great grandchildren, Adian and Sydney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Monday, May 15, 2006, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Services will be on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Oak Hill Gospel Tabernacle with Rev. Tommy Mounts and Rev. Robert Isaac officiating. Entombment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Prosperity WV. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Kees, Keith Kees, Scott Parson, Robert Kees, Michael Kees, Jim Kees and Troy Thompson. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
