Kenna Lea Keith Hurley

At home, surrounded by her family Kenna Lea Keith Hurley, 51, of Oak Hill, WV died peacefully on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 after battling a long illness. The Lord took her join her parents and her long-time canine companion, Lucy. Born December 18, 1958 at Kincaid, WV she was the daughter of the late Kenneth L. and Freda M. Blake Hurley. The owner of Hair by Kenna she was a talented hairdresser in the Oak Hill area whose customers were also friends. She was joke teller, storyteller, a great listener and friend. Kenna was a US Army veteran. . Survivors include one son, Eric T. Keith; sisters, Alanda Kay Hurtado and Kathy Villarreal; two nieces, Shannon K. Miller and Kelly D. Taylor; several great nieces and nephews and loving friends, Karen Bolen, Jackie Dean and JoAnn Bragg. Graveside rites and committal services will be on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley with military graveside rites by Oak Hill VFW Post #3110. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. A small reception will be held following the service on Tuesday at Kenna's home. Contact Kasie Miller (304) 421-3035 for information.
