Keith M. Billings

Keith M. Billings, age 75, of Round Lake Beach, IL formerly of Mount Hope, WV died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. He was born June 13, 1937 in Mount Hope, West Virginia a son of the late Charlie and Ada (Bailey) Billings. On November 11, 1967 he married Dorothy Brown at United Protestant Church in Grayslake. Previously from Highland Park, Keith moved to Round Lake Beach in 1973. He was employed in water distribution for public works at the village of Northbrook. Mr. Billings was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1968. He enjoyed coin collecting. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy on April 24, 2008 and twelve brothers and sister. He is survived by his siblings,  Bobby (Rosetta) Billings of Custer Park, Harold (Barbara) Billings of Delaware, Ohio, and Juanita Hatcher of Oak Hill, WV; many nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Jose and Mindy Ramirez of Round Lake Beach. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Justen’s Round Lake Funeral Home, 222 W. North Rosedale Court, Round Lake, IL 60073. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
