Kathleen Piotrowski

June 28, 1921 — September 2, 2018

Kathleen Lafferty Piotrowski, 97, of Mount Hope passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the Hilltop Center in Hilltop.

Born June 28, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Robert, and Elizabeth Bowyer Lafferty.

Kathleen was a homemaker, a cook for Howard Johnson (Glasshouse), and was of the Methodist faith.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Piotrowski; three sons, Gary, Lee, and Larry Lively; a daughter, Carol Allen; two sisters, Ilean Everett, and Ruby Shawver; a brother, Bill Hamilton; and a great grandchild.

Those left to cherish her include four daughters, Kathy Williams (Jim) of Prosperity, Linda Brooks of Bradley, Nancy Roles of Fayetteville, and Delores Pennington of Beckley; twenty grandchildren; forty-seven great grandchildren; and fourteen great great grandchildren; one brother, Charles Hamilton.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 7, 2018 at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Pastor Al Whitt officiating. Burial will follow at Huse Memorial Park in Fayetteville.

Visitation for friends will be two hours prior to service at the funeral home in Mount Hope.
