Kathleen Blackwell Jones

Kathleen Blackwell Jones, 86, of Oak Hill, WV went to sit at the feet of her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 01, 2006 at Hilltop Healthcare Center in Hilltop, WV. Born March 15, 1920 at Whipple, WV she was the daughter of the late Claude Nelson and Grace Mae Grant Blackwell. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Junior Jones on October 14, 1992; as well as a great grandson, Michael Loeffler, one brother, Woodrow Blackwell, Sr. and two sisters, Corine Blethen and Nellie Shyblosky.. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Kathryn Loeffler and husband, Ed of Oak Hill, WV and Betty Jean Bragg of Hilltop, WV , son-in-law, Charles William Petry of Flat Top, WV; one sister, June Marie Pemberton of Lochgelly, WV; five grandchildren, Eddie Loeffler, Bryan Loeffler and Keith Loeffler all of Florida, Little Mary Fulk and Michelle "Boog" Petry Locklear both of Winston Salem, NC and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Monday, September 4, 2006, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Services will be on Monday, September 4, 2006, at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev William Skeldon officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV. Pallbearers will be Bryan Loeffler, Eddie Loeffler, Keith Loeffler, Edward Loeffler, Chuch Petry and Michael Fulk.
